Billing Boats feature a vacuum formed plastic hull, which means most of the assembly time involves installing the mechanical and electronic radio control components. Assembly of these kits varies in complexity according to these rankings :

• Level 0 – Beginner with no previous model building experience. Assembly is simple, but will still take longer than one evening.
• Level 1 – Advanced Beginner who has built a model ship before. Reasonably simple assembly with some challenges along the way.
• Level 2 – Experienced in building models. You will enjoy the challenge of the more detailed work involved in assembling these boats.
• Level 3 – Expert for the well trained and highly skilled model builder. These large and impressive boat kits include numerous finely detailed features which will require many hours of careful assembly.
